Acetal H (Delrin) Black Rod
Description
Acetal H (Delrin) Extruded Black Rod is a homopolymer manufactured from Delrin resin. Delrin is a semi-crystalline, thermoplastic with product characteristics including excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption and high wear resistance. This product offers slightly higher tensile and impact strength in comparison to Acetal Copolymer Rod. (Natural Delrin rod conforms to FDA21 CFR 177.2470). The long term service temperature range of Delrin Rod is from -50°C to 90°C and it has a short term maximum service temperature of 150°C.
Typical fields of application for Acetal H Rod include mechanical engineering, vehicle construction and precision engineering. Delrin Rod is a material well suited to billeting, precision grinding and CNC turning. Similar materials available from Plastock include Acetal C Extruded Natural Rod and Acetal C Extruded Black Rod.
If you have a requirement for machined or finished Delrin components please ask the Plastock team for more information.
