Axiflex Coupling Type II
Description
Axiflex couplings are used to connect plain ended pipes that are already anchored in pressurised applications. Popular with water authorities, civil engineers and building contractors, they are high performance couplings that allows generous pipe angulation and expansion/contraction.
The stainless steel and high strength steel design ensures significant weight savings are achieved over cast iron couplings resulting in quicker installation times and significant cost savings. Axiflex does not contain anchor rings and therefore allows for greater expansion and contraction. Pipes should be restrained to prevent them from pushing or pulling apart.
These couplings are suitable for use with pipe materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, cast and ductile iron, MDPE, HDPE, PVC, uPVC, ABS and more.
