Description

Galvanised mild steel backing rings BS4504 are used along with flanges for connecting two pieces of pipe together alongside stub or full-face flanges. The backing ring spreads the load across the widest area of the flange and avoids steel nuts and bolts being potentially overtightened or damaging the integrity of the flanged joint.
