Flexible Low Density Polythene (LDPE) Natural Imperial Hose
Description
Low Density Polythene (LDPE) Hose is suitable for applications requiring a relatively low cost material which has good resistance to many liquids and chemicals. Our LDPE hose has a high resistance to water and organic salt solutions. Diluted bases and acids as well as concentrated bases have no effect, but polythene hose will discolour/crack under the action of concentrated nitric and sulphuric acids particularly at high temperatures.
Polythene hose can be used as a more flexible, low pressure alternative to flexible nylon tubing. It is manufactured from materials that fulfil most countries requirements for materials intended to come into contact with drinking water. Designed for low pressure applications, it and has a maximum working temperature of +50 °C.
LDPE Natural Hose is available in both Metric and Imperial measurements.
