PE1000 (UHMWPE) ESD Anti-Static Black Rod
Description
PE1000 (UHMWPE) ESD is a variant of PE1000 with improved electrical conductivity and excellent static dissipative properties. The surface and contact resistance, measured on the semi-finished product, is ≤10⁹ Ω.
PE1000 (UHMWPE) ESD Rod is a high performance polyethylene with product characteristics including good static conductivity, high strength and stiffness, high rigidity to -40°C, and dimensional stability. It also has a high resistance to solvents, low water absorption and favourable sliding friction and sliding wear behaviour.
Typical fields of application for PE1000 ESD rod include components for pharmaceuticals, explosive components in the paint and baked goods industry, and applications for electrostatically sensitive components in electronics.
