PVC Red Rod (PVC-U)
Description
UPVC Extruded Red Rod is a synthetic polymer with product characteristics including high resistance to acids, lyes and salt solutions, flame retardance properties, self-extinguishing after removal of flame and easy processing by welding, thermoforming and bonding. The long term service temperature range of UPVC Rod is from 0°C to 60°C and has a short term maximum service temperature of 70°C.
Typical fields of application for UPVC Rod include chemical engineering, tank building and pump engineering. UPVC Rod is a material well suited to billeting, precision grinding and CNC turning. Similar materials available from Plastock include PE300 (HDPE) Extruded Black Rod and PE500 (HMWPE) Extruded Natural Rod.
If you have a requirement for machined or finished UPVC components please ask the Plastock team for more information.
