Small pin and live knots are visible beneath the shadow sawn surface of Carrick, a beautiful European Oak with smoky-grey overtones that looks just as at home in traditional as in modern spaces.
We used 20mm nature grade slow grown European oak for these engineered extra wide and extra -long length planks. Nature grade oak includes a broad range of natural characteristics, such as knots, sap and colour variation.
The end result is a floor that adds an extra feeling of texture and dimension to already great-looking wood. Carrick feels fantastic underfoot, and its weathered style adds an eye-catching enhancement to any space.
These planks have a hardwax oil finish, which is durable, natural and unrivalled. It combines oils which deeply penetrate the wood’s pores with a hardwax that is polished to a deep patina. Carrick is FSC certified so you can buy it knowing that it is sustainably sourced from well managed forests. It can also be used with underfloor heating.
